Blanca Estela started painting after her children grew up and started taking classes at Micheals store. There she had a great art teacher named Mary Sterling who help her develop her skills as an artist. After 3 years painting flowers, She wanted learn and focus on portraits. In 2009, She started taking classes at the park district of her town and have had a great teacher, Mary George, who taught her how to paint faces and helped her develop her own unique style. Her favorite style of painting is black & white portraiture with a touch of color in the lips, eyes, or garment.
